Principal UI / UX Designer

As the Principal UI / UX Designer, you will be at the forefront of creating user-centric interfaces that empower businesses and organizations to navigate the complex landscape of cyber threats effectively. You will lead the design of the ArmorCode platform and collaborate closely with cybersecurity experts to ensure that our platform not only supports core cybersecurity use-cases but also delights users with intuitive and visually engaging experience. Your work will involve conducting usability testing, gathering user feedback, and continually optimizing the UX for efficiency and effectiveness. This role requires you to be a creative thinker, a cybersecurity enthusiast, and a leader with a passion for designing interfaces that make a difference

Detailed Roles and Responsibilities

User Interface (UI) Design:

• Lead the end-to-end user experience design process, from conceptualization to implementation for our platform.
• Ensure that the UI aligns with cybersecurity requirements and intuitively communicates security features to users.
• Advocate for user-centric design principles and contribute to the overall design strategy of our platform.

User Experience (UX) Design: 

• Develop and optimize the overall user experience, focusing on usability, efficiency, and user workflows.

Cybersecurity Integration:

• Collaborate with cybersecurity experts to seamlessly integrate security features into the user interface.
• Ensure that security functionalities are user-friendly and easily accessible. 

Design Prototyping:

• Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to visualize and communicate design concepts and solutions.

Usability Testing:

• Conduct usability testing and iterate designs based on user feedback and data analysis.

Design Standards:

• Establish and maintain design standards, guidelines, and best practices for UI/UX across our platform.

User Research:

• Conduct user research and gather insights to inform design decisions and ensure user-centered design practices.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UX design and cybersecurity.

Leadership and Collaboration:

• Lead the UI and UX design process to drive platform adoption and reduce customer time to value
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and security experts, to translate business requirements into intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Master's degree in UI/UX design, human-computer interaction, or a related field.
• Proven experience (5 to 8 years) as a UI/UX designer with a strong portfolio of projects in the SaaS or cybersecurity domain.
• Proficiency in UI/UX design tools such as Balsamiq, Figma, etc.
• Experience leveraging SaaS analytics and in product guidance tools such as Pendo
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts and the ability to integrate them into the user interface.
• Experience with usability testing, user research, and accessibility standards.
